End of the Year Wrap up-New Begining

So I've been away from the blog for most of December unfortunately.
Production was fairly intense for most of the month before taking some holiday time to visit family. I am pleased to say that all the hard work in December made the January production launch quite smooth.
Having some time at the end of the year to catch up with family and friends was terrific and a pleasant way to recharge the creative batteries. Spending time with loved ones was the highlight to end 2008 and start 2009 with them.
I did create some new sketches at that time and will be posting them following today's post.
What I'm sharing today is my first entry in a small art challenge that I and fellow artist, Justin Ridge launched at the studio. (Justin just rocks! Great artist and person! Check out his link and you'll see.)
The Weekly Art Challenge premise: Each participating artist will create one piece of artwork per week based on a common theme determined by the group.
This weeks theme: Yakuza Sci-Fi Abstract.
Each artist is free to interpret the theme in any manner they imagine. Here's the link to see this week's exciting entries:

Will post more soon.
