COSBY: Master Storyteller

We've all been there:
Have you ever succumbed to the slings, arrows, and flaming darts that you have flung at your creative self after engaging in some new endeavor or just continuing on the creative path?

Have you ever found yourself staring up at the stars from the bottom of the well of creative despair that you dug with your own thoughts?

Have you ever been inside a Turkish prison?

(That last one was a reference to this classic movie scene, in case you missed it.)

We've all been tempted to slide down the slippery slope of self generated creative immobilization which  can lead to artistic "angst".

When I find myself wavering, I recall a commencement speech from master storyteller, Bill Cosby.
His speech delivered to a graduating class at Carnegie Mellon University is preserved here on the internet for all to enjoy and be preserved. I've listened to it on numerous occasions and found Cosby's tale to be incredible motivation for any creative career.

Check it out! :)
